ADD WEBSITE FEATURES
Keep the website. Make it more useful.
Your website may already do the basics well. Add the feature that helps customers take the next step or gives your team a better way to work, without assuming the whole site needs rebuilding.
You work directly with me, Michael. I review what you have, define the job and recommend a suitable plugin, integration or custom addition. The approach depends on your platform and the systems it needs to connect.
- Build on your existing website
- Features shaped around real tasks
- Agreed compatibility and testing

YOUR WEBSITE · THE NEXT USEFUL FEATURE
Make the pieces work together.
Your process
New feature
Connected website
Functionality planned around the way you work.
A USEFUL NEXT CAPABILITY
Give your website another job to do.
Start with the outcome you need. I can assess an off-the-shelf solution before considering custom development, keeping the work proportionate to the requirement.
Forms, enquiries and quotations
Collect the right information through agreed enquiry forms, conditional fields, calculations or quotation workflows.
Bookings and appointments
Connect a suitable booking service or configure supported appointment functionality around your availability and customer journey.
Shop features
Assess product options, useful filtering, delivery information, customer-account features and other improvements to an existing online shop.
Connected business tools
Link suitable CRM, email, accounting, stock or other systems through supported integrations or APIs, subject to account access and provider capabilities.
Member and customer areas
Plan appropriate content access, account information or a defined customer workflow, with the roles and permissions agreed first.
Calculators and custom tools
Add a useful on-page tool or tailored workflow when standard features do not fit. More substantial plugin products are separately planned and quoted.
START WITH THE TASK
An addition that fits the website around it.
01
Describe the outcome
I discuss who will use the feature, what should happen and how success can be checked. Examples of the current process are useful.
02
Review the options
I check the relevant website setup, existing extensions and connected systems, then explain the proposed solution and its dependencies.
03
Build and review
The agreed feature is configured or developed with suitable review points. Any changes to the original requirement are discussed before additional work proceeds.
04
Test and hand over
I check the agreed scenarios, relevant permissions and responsive behaviour, then provide the included handover and explain ongoing responsibilities.
CLEAR FUNCTIONALITY. CLEAR SCOPE.
Agree how it works before I build it.
I quote each addition individually. A plugin configuration, a connected workflow and a bespoke application involve different levels of work, so the proposal follows the requirement rather than a one-size-fits-all price.
Your quote identifies the functionality, platform assumptions, supplied accounts and content, review points and agreed tests. Relevant licences, subscriptions and future maintenance are explained separately.
- Defined inputs, outputs and user journeys.
- Supported platforms and required account access.
- The handling of permissions and exceptions.
- Integration and third-party limitations identified where known.
- Handover, support and maintenance terms agreed in writing.
All prices are total service fees in GBP. No VAT is added. Plugin licences, subscriptions, hosting and usage charges are separate third-party provider costs unless explicitly included in your written quote.

YOUR QUESTION

I start with your goals, explain the options and agree a clear scope.
Creative Apple Solutions · Direct, practical advice
Before you add a new feature.
Do I need a new website to add functionality?
Not necessarily. I review the relevant parts of your current website first. A targeted addition may be suitable; if the existing platform creates a significant limitation, I explain it before recommending larger work.
Can an existing plugin do the job?
Often it can. I assess suitable existing tools alongside configuration and custom-development options, taking account of compatibility, licences, user experience and the task you need to complete.
Can you connect my website to another service?
I can assess the available API or supported integration. Feasibility depends on the provider's capabilities, your account plan, access permissions and the data involved.
Who owns the accounts and licences?
I agree the arrangement before work starts. Business accounts should normally be under your control, and paid software remains subject to the relevant provider's licence and renewal terms.
Will future changes be included?
The proposal states the included delivery and support. Additional functionality, provider changes, new compatibility work and ongoing maintenance need their own agreed scope.
WHAT WOULD MAKE YOUR WEBSITE MORE USEFUL?
Bring me the task you want your website to handle.
Tell me what your customers or team need to do, where the current process falls short and which systems are involved. I will help identify a practical approach.
