WEBSITE & ONLINE SHOP REPAIRS
Something stopped working? Let's find the cause.
A broken form, a damaged mobile layout or a checkout that behaves unexpectedly can interrupt the way your business works. I investigate the reported fault and plan a focused repair around your website and its dependencies.
You work directly with me, Michael. Start by telling me what changed, what you expected to happen and what you see now. I will explain the access and checks needed before agreeing the work.
- WordPress, WooCommerce and website faults
- A defined investigation and repair scope
- Checks matched to the reported problem

WEBSITE REPAIR · A CLEAR ROUTE FORWARD
Understand it. Repair it. Check it.

A scoped repair begins with the actual fault.
PRACTICAL HELP WITH THE FAULT
Put the important journeys back in focus.
I scope the work around the problem you are experiencing. Some faults need a small correction; others require investigation across plugins, hosting or connected services.
Broken layouts and mobile issues
Investigate damaged page layouts, missing styles, overlapping elements and responsive problems in your theme or page builder.
Forms and enquiry routes
Review agreed form submissions, validation and message delivery, including relevant website, email and provider settings where access is available.
Shop and checkout problems
Investigate the affected product, basket, delivery or checkout behaviour. Payment and order checks use agreed test arrangements where available.
Update and compatibility faults
Review problems that appeared after a theme, plugin or platform change, and assess a compatible way forward.
Errors and unavailable pages
Investigate reported error messages, broken routes and relevant logs. Hosting or third-party service faults may require the provider's involvement.
Existing custom functionality
Assess an existing script, plugin or integration where its code, access and dependencies can be reviewed. Major replacements are separately scoped.
UNDERSTAND. AGREE. CHECK.
A clear route from the symptom to the repair.
01
Show me the issue
Share the affected page, a screenshot or error message, the steps to reproduce it and any recent changes. Please keep passwords out of your initial message.
02
Agree the investigation
I confirm the relevant platform, access, diagnostic work and any initial fee before starting. Backups, staging and rollback options are considered for the proposed work.
03
Confirm the repair
Once the cause is understood, I explain the proposed correction, dependencies and scope. If the investigation points to larger work, I discuss that before proceeding.
04
Check and hand back
I test the agreed behaviour, explain what changed and record any remaining limitations or recommended follow-up work.
A QUOTE THAT MATCHES THE PROBLEM
Focused work, with the boundaries made clear.
Repair work is quoted around the fault, platform, available evidence and access. If the cause is uncertain, a defined diagnostic stage may be the sensible first step; its fee and deliverable are agreed before investigation begins.
Your proposal explains the repair work, assumptions, testing and handover. A new issue, additional feature or wider rebuild is handled through a separate agreed scope.
- A clearly identified website, fault and affected journey.
- Diagnostic work and implementation distinguished where necessary.
- Required account access and provider dependencies explained.
- Backup, staging and deployment arrangements agreed for the change.
- Any included follow-up or support stated in the quote.
All prices are total service fees in GBP. No VAT is added. Hosting, licences, replacement software and other third-party provider costs are separate unless explicitly included in your written quote.

A few useful answers before I start. If your question is more specific, I can talk it through with you.
YOUR QUESTION
Will this fit the way our business works?
I start with your goals, explain the options and agree a clear scope.
Creative Apple Solutions · Direct, practical advice
Useful answers before I investigate.
Can you repair a website built by someone else?
Often, yes. I first check the platform, access, available code and relevant dependencies. If a restricted system or missing source prevents a repair, I explain the limitation and discuss possible next steps.
Can you tell me the exact price before seeing the fault?
A clear, reproducible fault may be straightforward to quote. Where the cause is unknown, I agree a defined investigation first and explain what it will cover. Additional work is agreed before it proceeds.
Can you promise to recover every website or lost order?
No. Recovery depends on the cause, available data, backups and access. I explain what can be established and what options are available; missing information cannot always be recreated.
Will you test my checkout with live payments?
I agree appropriate test arrangements before checking orders or payment behaviour. Provider test modes or a suitable test environment are used where available. Live transactions are not assumed as part of a standard investigation.
Is ongoing maintenance included?
The repair quote states any included follow-up. Routine updates, monitoring, future compatibility work and new faults are separate unless an ongoing maintenance arrangement is agreed.
LET'S UNDERSTAND THE FAULT
Show me what is getting in the way.
Send the website address, the affected page and a short description of what happens. I will identify what needs to be checked and discuss a sensible next step.
