Defined deliverables
I agree the pages, features, files or other outputs, together with the review rounds and acceptance checks. Additional work is assessed before it changes the scope.
Visible project costs
My quote separates the service fee from any hosting, licences, provider usage, production or delivery costs. All my quoted service fees are totals in GBP; no VAT is added.
Useful client input
I identify the content, account access and decisions I need from you. Timely, consolidated feedback helps the work progress against the agreed plan.
TOOLS CHOSEN FOR THE REQUIREMENT
I start with the task, then choose the tools.
A standard feature or existing plugin may be the right answer. When it does not meet the requirement, I can define a bespoke extension or workflow rather than promising a complicated system before understanding the problem.
For AI and automation, I consider the information, integrations and decisions involved. I agree where a person reviews the output and what happens if a connected service is unavailable.

Before your project begins.
Will I work directly with you?
Yes. I discuss the brief, carry out the agreed design and development, manage the reviews and provide the handover myself.
What do you need from me?
The starting point is your goals and any existing website, files or systems. I then identify the approved content, assets, account access and decisions needed for the agreed scope.
Can the scope change during a project?
It can, but I assess the extra work and explain any effect on price or timing before it is added. A new requirement is not automatically part of the original fee.
Do you provide support after delivery?
I provide the support and guidance included in the written scope. Maintenance, new features, content work or a longer support arrangement can be agreed separately.
Can you work with my current provider or agency?
Yes, where the roles, access and communication are agreed. I can handle a defined part of the project while your existing provider remains responsible for other work.
Will the project guarantee more sales or better search rankings?
I commit to the agreed work and clear communication. Sales, traffic and rankings also depend on your offer, content, market and external systems, so I do not promise a particular commercial result.
