Contact me to request project terms and clarify the written scope before work begins.
Monthly SEO, marketing and maintenance are paid in advance with no six- or twelve-month minimum term. Give at least five working days’ notice before the next period to avoid renewal. The agreed current package continues; statutory rights remain protected.
Website and shop builds include two consolidated in-brief revision rounds and one calendar month of included handover support. This does not shorten your legal rights.
An hourly service hour contains 60 minutes. Agreed reporting uses chargeable time. Search positions, AI mentions, advertising results and sales are not guaranteed.
The quotation explains the standard author credit and limited portfolio use. Ask before accepting if you need white-label delivery; any price difference is agreed in advance.

1. The company, Michael and this version
Your agreement is with Creative Apple Solutions Ltd, company number 12417645. I am Michael, the owner and the person personally planning and carrying out the agreed work. References to I, me and my describe my work on behalf of the company; they do not make me a separate contracting sole trader.
The contact address is Creative Apple Solutions Ltd, Europa Business Park, Bird Hall Ln, Building 67, Ground floor, 67 G12, Stockport, SK3 0XA, United Kingdom. You can write to [email protected] about a quotation, your project or these terms.
This version is dated 18 October 2026 and is intended for new agreements accepted from that date after these terms have been made available to you. Publishing a later version does not retrospectively change an existing agreement. A change to an existing agreement must be agreed with you or be required by applicable law.
Creative Apple Solutions Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number 12417645. Its registered office is 67 Europa Business Park, Bird Hall Lane, Stockport, England, SK3 0XA. The more specific business correspondence address below can be used for project and privacy enquiries.
2. Business clients, consumers and new businesses
Most of my clients buy services for their business. A limited company buying for its business, or an individual acting as a sole trader mainly for their trade or profession, is a business client. An individual buying wholly or mainly for a purpose outside their trade, business, craft or profession may be a consumer. The actual purpose and circumstances matter; a label on a quotation does not remove consumer protection.
Please identify the correct customer when requesting a quotation: the company’s legal name, or the individual’s name and business details where appropriate. A trading name is not itself a separate legal person. If you accept for a company or another organisation, please ensure that you are authorised to do so.
If you are setting up a company which has not yet been incorporated, the proposal must identify the individual or existing organisation entering the agreement. A future company is not treated as an existing party. Any later transfer of the agreement to a newly formed company needs a separate written arrangement; incorporation alone does not automatically replace the original customer.
If your purchase is mainly personal, tell me before accepting so I can provide the appropriate consumer information and cancellation arrangements. Your status is determined by law, not by this request.
3. The written scope and your quotation
Before work begins, I agree the service, deliverables and commercial arrangements with you in a written proposal, quotation or other written confirmation you can keep. It identifies the work included, its price or agreed charging method, relevant exclusions, responsibilities and any agreed timetable or payment stages. Please ask about anything unclear before accepting.
Bespoke websites, shops, software, integrations and service packages are individually scoped. A service name, example, technology logo or previous project does not mean that every related feature is included. Published package prices apply to their stated deliverables; if your requirements differ, I explain and quote for that difference before you commit.
The agreed project documents and these terms are read together. An expressly agreed project detail can refine the scope or commercial arrangement, but cannot take away rights which the law protects. Binding pre-contract information and promises are not cancelled simply because they are not repeated here. Booking an introductory conversation does not by itself order a paid project.
Each quotation states its valid-until date. If it has not been accepted by that date, I may need to issue an updated quotation reflecting the current scope, price, availability and external costs. An expired quotation is not automatically extended. I confirm any updated price and terms before you commit.
Expiry does not change the price of a project already accepted within the quotation’s validity period. Any later change to an accepted scope or price needs your agreement before the additional work or commitment is made. A quotation’s validity period is separate from any statutory cancellation period.
The quotation explains how to accept and when the agreement is formed. Please check the customer details, scope, price and supplied order information before accepting and tell me about an error. I confirm the agreed project documents in a form you can keep.
Monthly services without a long minimum term. My monthly SEO, marketing, maintenance and other ongoing service packages run month to month, without a six- or twelve-month minimum commitment or a requirement to pay six or twelve months of my service fees in advance. Each monthly service period is paid for in advance. You may send a cancellation or package-change request at any time, but to prevent the next agreed monthly renewal I must receive your cancellation at least five working days before the next service period begins. The monthly scope, price, billing dates, continuation and notice arrangements are explained before you commit. A separately commissioned fixed-scope build or project and a subscription you hold directly with another provider remain separate agreements.
My fees pay for the agreed deliverables and professional work. A website, shop, plugin, automation, SEO engagement or advertising campaign is not sold with a guaranteed number of customers, leads, orders, sales, profit or revenue. Commercial results depend on factors including your offer, pricing, reputation, market, competition, available budget, customer decisions, external platforms and your own sales process. I remain responsible for providing the agreed work with reasonable care and skill and meeting any binding commitments actually made.
Launching is the beginning of reaching customers. Putting a website, online shop or commercial plugin live does not automatically bring visitors, customers or sales. Reaching potential customers may require useful content, organic SEO, AEO or GEO, paid advertising and other suitable promotion over an extended period. Promotion, media spend and ongoing marketing are included only where expressly agreed. The launch date and promotional budget do not set a guaranteed date for the first enquiry or sale.
Even a well-built website and improved visibility may not lead to purchases if other parts of the offer do not suit the market. Price can be above or below a customer’s expectations; location or service area, demand, seasonality, the number and strength of competitors, reputation, genuine reviews, trust, product availability and the ease of enquiring or buying all matter. I can help review relevant issues within an agreed scope, but a build, a search campaign or an advertising budget does not guarantee customer decisions or commercial success. This does not exclude responsibility for the agreed work or my own failure to provide it with reasonable care and skill.
- A website or shop scope should identify the platform, pages or templates, features, content responsibilities, review stages and handover.
- A technical or hourly scope should identify the problem, permitted work, access, agreed rate or budget, and the point at which further approval is needed.
- A continuing service should identify what is done, how often, its price, and any agreed duration, renewal and cancellation arrangements.
4. Prices, payment and third-party costs
The agreed price and any payment stages, invoice dates and due dates are stated in your written quotation or project agreement before work starts. The arrangements below are my usual payment terms unless a different arrangement is expressly agreed in writing. Any deposit or payment-stage commitment for a fixed-scope project is identified before you commit. Ask me promptly if an invoice does not match the agreement or you need an explanation.
Website and online-shop projects: usually 40% and 60%. I normally require an advance payment of 40% of the agreed project price before starting the work. The remaining 60% becomes payable after I have completed the agreed work and you have expressly approved it. The quotation records the amounts and due dates. Silence is not treated as approval or permission to charge for additional work.
Small website projects up to £400. For a small website with an agreed project price of £400 or less, I require payment of the full agreed project price in advance before starting, rather than the usual 40% and 60% split. The quotation makes this requirement clear before you order.
SEO, AEO and GEO: payment in advance. Payment is taken in advance for the agreed monthly service period, authorised time budget or individually scoped deliverable package. Monthly services follow the month-to-month renewal and five-working-day notice arrangements below. Where the work is hourly, the advance is accounted for against authorised time actually worked, including agreed report preparation; receiving it does not automatically earn the entire advance.
Bespoke plugin development: agreed instalments. For commissioned plugin development, I normally divide the agreed project price into several instalments suitable for both you and me. We agree each instalment’s amount, due date and any related milestone together in writing before the work starts. There is no unstated standard instalment schedule. These are payment stages for a defined project, separate from a continuing monthly service or a third-party subscription.
An advance or instalment is a payment towards the agreed work, not an automatic declaration that every part of it has already been earned or is non-refundable. Making an advance payment does not by itself approve completed work, a report or an additional charge. Payment in advance does not remove any applicable cancellation right or remedy for faulty, misdescribed or undelivered work. The completed-service and fair-settlement arrangements below continue to apply.
Your quotation clarifies the total service fee in GBP, any applicable tax and any separate third-party charges before you commit. Any proposed change to the price or charging basis must be explained and agreed before the additional commitment is made.
Domains, hosting, premium themes or plugins, software licences, stock assets, provider subscriptions, API usage, printing, delivery and advertising media spend are separate unless expressly included. I identify relevant external costs or the agreed method for authorising them. A provider may charge its own taxes or fees. I will not treat approval of my service fee as unlimited permission to spend on your behalf.
5. Information, access and project timing
Agreeing the timetable before work starts. At the beginning of the project, I agree the delivery timetable with you in writing, including the expected start, relevant milestones, review stages, dates for your materials and feedback, and the agreed completion or handover date. The plan identifies dependencies such as content, product information, images, account access, third-party integrations and any agreed initial payment. If a particular launch date is essential, we discuss and record that requirement before committing. A firm deadline is not automatically converted into an estimate by these terms.
Please provide the information, content, decisions and authorised access reasonably needed for the agreed work. This may include branding, page copy, product information, suitable images and details of relevant systems. Please use accounts you are entitled to share and avoid sending passwords, sensitive records or private customer files through an unsuitable channel.
Realistic planning and earlier delivery. Drawing on my project experience since 2001, I normally allow a reasonable contingency for reviews, testing, dependencies and issues which cannot be predicted precisely at the outset. My aim is to give you a dependable plan and complete the agreed work on time, rather than promise an unnecessarily tight date. A project may be ready earlier than the agreed completion date; where appropriate, I offer an earlier review or handover. Earlier completion is not guaranteed, does not reduce your agreed review allowance or support rights, and does not create an additional fee.
Materials, access or feedback supplied late. If you do not provide required material, access, decisions or feedback by an agreed date, work which depends on it may be delayed. I tell you what is outstanding and which parts of the timetable it affects. Where reasonably practicable, I continue work which is not affected. A revised completion date reflects the actual delay and any reasonable rescheduling needed once complete information is available; it is not an automatic unlimited extension. I explain the effect and confirm the revised plan with you in writing. A delay does not itself authorise an extra charge.
Revisions and changes to the brief. Numerous, substantial or late changes can require more design, development, review and testing time. I explain their effect on the timetable before you authorise the changed work. The two included consolidated in-brief review rounds for website and shop builds remain included unless a different arrangement was agreed; this paragraph does not turn them into chargeable extras. New scope or a replacement concept requires an agreed proposal, price and revised timetable before it proceeds. Correcting my own failure to meet the agreement is not treated as a client-requested extra.
Illness, accidents and circumstances outside my reasonable control. A serious illness or incapacity, an accident, an exceptional interruption to essential services or another genuinely unforeseen event outside my reasonable control may prevent planned work and affect delivery. If that happens, I notify you as soon as reasonably practicable, explain the affected work and likely impact as far as it can be assessed, and take reasonable steps to reduce disruption and resume work. We discuss a proportionate revised timetable, which I confirm in writing. This is not permission for an indefinite delay or a blanket exclusion of responsibility for delay, foreseeable planning failures or work I have agreed to provide.
If the revised timing is not suitable. If I cannot provide agreed work within an appropriate time, or an essential agreed deadline cannot be met, I discuss the available options with you, including reducing or ending affected work and any refund properly due for services not provided. Any right you have to end the agreement for breach, an essential deadline or under consumer law remains protected. I do not assume your silence accepts a revised deadline, additional work or a new charge.
I ask for affirmative approval at the agreed review and release points. Your silence is not automatically treated as approval, acceptance of a time report, or permission for extra charges. If an issue prevents progress, I will contact you to agree how to proceed.
6. Website and WooCommerce shop delivery
The quotation identifies whether the project is an HTML-based site, an editable WordPress website, a WooCommerce shop or another agreed solution. It sets out the included pages, layouts, forms, product work, integrations and responsive behaviour. Content writing, translations, photography, large product imports and additional functionality are included only where listed.
I build and check the agreed work for the supported devices, browsers and software environment identified for the project. Where the scope includes forms, basic on-page search setup, analytics, consent configuration or training, the deliverables and dependencies are agreed. A basic setup is not a promise of full legal compliance, search visibility or a particular commercial result.
For a shop, payment-provider approval, delivery and tax rules, product claims, customer notices and business policies need accurate information from you and any appropriate professional advice. My responsibility remains the design, development and configuration I agree to supply. I do not assume responsibility for running your business simply by building its website.
7. Two consolidated website and shop revision rounds
Unless we expressly agree a different arrangement in writing, a website or online-shop design and build includes two rounds of revisions within the agreed brief. A round means one consolidated list of changes to the work presented for review. Please identify the affected page, section or feature and explain the adjustment you would like.
These rounds allow you to refine the agreed design and content presentation. They do not include a replacement concept, additional pages, a different platform, or new features outside the scope. If a request falls outside the brief, I explain that before proposing additional work.
Correcting a failure in my work to meet the agreement or a required legal standard is not counted as a discretionary revision round. The two-round allowance does not limit your rights to have defective or non-conforming work put right.
8. Additional work and a major change of concept
New pages, extra functionality, substantial content restructuring, a different platform or a major change to an approved design direction can change the scope. A replacement concept or a substantially different project may need to be treated as a new project with its own quotation. Replacing the approved layout, colour direction and copy as part of an entirely different concept is different from a minor in-brief adjustment.
I will explain the proposed additional scope, cost and effect on the timetable in writing. I will not begin that additional work or charge for it until you approve the proposal. A request for information or discussion of an idea is not itself approval of a paid change.
If you do not accept the proposed change, I will discuss how the original agreed work can continue or how the agreement can fairly be brought to an end. These terms do not let me unilaterally replace the agreed service, raise the price or impose a penalty because your requirements have changed.
9. Handover and one calendar month of included support
For a website, shop or bespoke development project with an agreed handover, I confirm the handover date and the deliverables being supplied. Any included training, documentation, credentials or deployment assistance are identified in the project scope.
For one calendar month from the handover date confirmed in writing, I correct faults in the work I delivered at no additional charge and carry out any unused in-brief revision rounds included in your project. It does not add unlimited review rounds. New features, a replacement brief or problems introduced by later changes outside my work are assessed separately, with any additional charge approved first. For a larger project, a longer included support period can be agreed by both parties in writing before handover.
This month describes the included handover service. It is not a deadline for all faults to be discovered, a limit on the time allowed by law to bring a claim, or an end to my responsibility for a failure to provide the agreed work properly. Continuing maintenance after handover is separate unless expressly included.
I identify the agreed files, access and export arrangements at handover. Your own domain, business content and accounts do not become my property because I work on them. Ending a maintenance or marketing service does not by itself remove your existing rights to paid-for deliverables. Any additional migration or transfer service is quoted for your approval before I carry it out.
10. Plugins, features, repairs and performance work
Custom plugin development, new features, integrations, repairs and speed optimisation are scoped against the relevant system and the problem you want to solve. I agree the intended behaviour, supported environment, deliverables and any testing or deployment arrangements. A repair quotation does not automatically include rebuilding unrelated parts of a site.
WordPress, WooCommerce, themes, plugins, browsers and external APIs change. I explain known compatibility dependencies relevant to the work. Compatibility with every future release or every third-party product is not an unlimited included commitment; future adaptation is scoped separately. This does not remove responsibility for the compatibility or care I expressly agreed to provide.
Performance depends on the hosting, site content, third-party scripts, traffic and testing conditions as well as the changes I make. Where measurements are supplied, they describe the stated test conditions. A particular score, load time or improvement is promised only if it has been expressly and realistically agreed; there is no general guarantee of a perfect score.
A website or shop audit identifies the agreed systems, pages, tests and reporting scope and describes findings at the time reviewed. An audit is not an unlimited certification of every legal, accessibility, security or technical requirement. Remedial implementation and later retesting are included only where agreed. I remain responsible for the audit work and standards I actually undertake.
11. Security, backups and continuing maintenance
Security measures reduce risk but cannot promise that a website, shop, account or connected service will never be compromised or interrupted. Risks include phishing, disclosure of your login credentials, attacks against hosting infrastructure and newly discovered vulnerabilities in third-party software. I remain responsible for using the care and skill required for the security work I agree to carry out.
WordPress, WooCommerce and other content-management or ecommerce platforms, together with their themes, plugins and connected services, need ongoing updates and attention. Continuing maintenance is a separately supplied service unless expressly included in your agreement. An ongoing care plan covers its agreed tasks and frequency, such as specified update sessions, backups, checks or a stated allowance of technical time.
A maintenance plan does not automatically include continuous uptime monitoring, daily security scans, unlimited changes, emergency response or round-the-clock availability. A security audit is a point-in-time assessment of the systems and material reviewed, rather than a guarantee that every vulnerability has been found or that no later incident will occur.
The proposal should identify backup responsibilities and any recovery work included. Keep relevant access and service subscriptions available and tell me about significant changes or incidents. Where a provider outage, attack or action outside my work contributes to a problem, I assess it with you; the involvement of a third party does not automatically excuse a breach or lack of care in my own agreed work.
Hosting can be arranged on my agency hosting with Hostinger, on another Hostinger account recommended for your project, or on a provider and account you choose. The quotation identifies who contracts with the hosting provider, who controls the account, the charges, renewal responsibilities and any management work included. My recommendation is not a guarantee that a provider will never have an outage, security incident or service change.
12. AI, automation and connected systems
AI assistants, workflow automation, voice tools, clinic-related systems and business integrations are individually scoped. The agreement identifies the intended use, connected services, data needed, review points and practical limits. A demonstration or illustrative workflow is not confirmation that a production system is ready for every use.
AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable without review. The agreed workflow should identify where a person checks content, decisions and actions. An AI tool is not a substitute for an appropriately qualified medical, legal, financial or other regulated professional, and I do not promise that it can make every business decision autonomously.
Provider access, usage charges and service conditions may affect delivery. Do not supply patient records, credentials or other sensitive information for an AI workflow unless the use, permissions and appropriate safeguards have been agreed. If personal data will be processed on your behalf, the relevant roles, instructions and data arrangements must be addressed for that project.
For AI grant or funding-application support, the quotation identifies the research, preparation or guidance included. You remain responsible for approving accurate business information and the application you submit. Eligibility, award decisions, deadlines and funding conditions are set by the relevant scheme or funder. My fee is for the agreed support; approval, funding amount and commercial benefit are not guaranteed. Regulated legal or financial advice is not included unless supplied under an appropriate separately agreed arrangement.
If an agreed workflow involves voice, SMS, email outreach, recordings or customer interactions, we identify the permitted use, required notices, lawful permissions, review controls and any opt-out arrangements before launch. The work is not permission to contact people unlawfully or use sensitive information outside the agreed purpose. Applicable provider rules, communication requirements and the agreed data-processing responsibilities continue to apply.
13. SEO, AEO, GEO and realistic search expectations
I have been designing and building since 2001 and continue to develop my knowledge as search tools, websites and customer behaviour change. My SEO, AEO and GEO work uses ethical, white-hat methods consistent with the relevant platforms’ published guidance. The individual scope may include technical and content reviews, useful articles, content improvements, research into competitors and current visibility, structured information and locally relevant pages.
Search engine optimisation (SEO), answer engine optimisation (AEO) and generative engine optimisation (GEO) are generally long-term activities, rather than instant results. The starting position, business priorities, competition and work actually authorised determine the scope. Search platforms do not make their full ranking algorithms public, and those algorithms and their changes are outside my control.
I do not guarantee a search position, indexing, inclusion in a featured result or AI-generated answer, traffic volume, enquiries or sales. Your offer, pricing, reputation, genuine reviews, customer trust and the buying experience also affect whether visibility turns into enquiries or sales. These limits do not remove my obligation to perform the agreed work with reasonable care and skill.
No one can guarantee a number-one ranking on Google. You can read Google’s official guidance on choosing an SEO, including its warning about ranking guarantees and its distinction between advertising and organic search.
SEO, AEO, GEO and related content work can be commissioned by the hour or as an individually agreed deliverable package. A package may specify a number of local pages, articles, social posts or other defined outputs for an agreed period. The quantity, period, scope, review arrangements and price are agreed individually before work begins; these services are not always charged hourly.
An audit assesses the reviewed material and conditions at the stated time, rather than promising that every issue has been found. Recommendations, implementation and later review are separate deliverables unless included together. Organic search work and paid advertising are distinct services; buying an advertisement does not buy an organic ranking or a favourable AI answer.
I also offer individually agreed SEO training for clients who want to manage their own work. The topics, practical support, duration and price are agreed before the session. Training provides knowledge and guidance; it does not guarantee a particular ranking or business result.
Time to develop and assess search work. Depending on the website, its starting position and the market, meaningful changes in organic visibility may take six to twelve months or longer; some changes may be seen sooner. Stopping after one, two or three months may end the work before there has been enough time to implement, review and assess its effects. This is a possible planning horizon for your circumstances, not a minimum contract term, a promised deadline or a guarantee of improvement.
Regular work allows me to research competitors, follow relevant search changes, improve content and technical foundations, and adjust priorities using available evidence. It can improve the opportunity for progress, but continuing for six months, a year or any other period does not make rankings, traffic, AI visibility, enquiries or sales certain. Search changes may take time to be reflected, and some changes may have no noticeable effect. See the Google SEO Starter Guide on the time needed to assess changes.
14. Actual minutes, hourly work and reporting
Where work is commissioned hourly, it is charged for the actual time spent on the agreed service at the rate agreed with you. One hour means a full 60 minutes. I record hours and minutes; for example, 90 minutes is 1.5 hours. The charge is the agreed hourly rate multiplied by the actual minutes worked and divided by 60, rather than treating a shorter period as a complete hour. A separately agreed deliverable package follows its agreed price and scope.
Every SEO engagement includes a report by default unless you expressly waive it. For hourly work, the actual time needed to prepare the report is chargeable time within the authorised time or budget. The available time therefore covers both practical work and reporting. For a deliverable package, the reporting arrangement is included in its individually agreed scope and price. I request approval before exceeding an authorised scope or budget.
During the current month, you may ask me for information about the hours and minutes worked on your engagement. You may also expressly ask me to omit a report for an agreed period. I confirm that choice and the relevant time and fee with you. Waiving a report changes the deliverable; it does not automatically approve a disputed charge, give up a remedy for inadequate work or prevent you asking for a reasonable explanation of an invoice. Silence is not a report waiver or acceptance.
15. Detailed time logs and separate business records
Detailed working time logs are normally kept until one calendar month after both the associated report has been expressly accepted by you and the relevant invoice has been paid in full. The month begins only after the later of those two events; payment alone is not treated as report acceptance.
If you expressly waive a report, the month begins after both you have confirmed the recorded time and fee and the relevant invoice has been paid in full. A report waiver or confirmation is not inferred from silence. Please raise any genuine time or fee query while the relevant detailed records are available.
This short retention period applies to detailed working logs, not to every project or financial record. Issued reports, invoices, accounting information and necessary contract evidence have separate retention requirements. Relevant records may be kept longer for a genuine query, dispute, legal obligation or lawful hold, with the need reviewed. Company accounting records are generally kept for six years from the end of the relevant financial year, or longer where required by law. See the Privacy Policy for information about personal data.
If approval remains outstanding, I review whether the detailed records are still necessary; they are not kept indefinitely merely because no reply has been received.
The detailed-log policy does not remove your right to challenge an invoice or pursue a legal remedy after a log has been deleted.
16. Google Ads and ChatGPT Ads where available
Google Ads setup, management, measurement or optimisation is supplied only under an agreed scope. My service fee is separate from the media budget paid to Google and from any other provider charge. The agreement identifies the account arrangements, authorised spend, work included and any reporting.
ChatGPT Ads (OpenAI) may be considered only where the relevant advertiser account, location, product and campaign access are available, and where the work is separately agreed. Availability, account or brand review, ad approval and delivery remain subject to OpenAI’s current requirements. Mentioning this service does not claim that every client or country is eligible, or that I am an endorsed OpenAI partner.
Before paid activity begins, the applicable scope and budget must be authorised. Platform review, auction conditions, targeting, customer behaviour and the landing page affect delivery and results. I do not guarantee approval, impressions, clicks, conversions or return on spend. No spend beyond the approved arrangement is authorised by these terms, and paid placement must not be represented as an organic search result or a favourable AI recommendation.
17. NFC card printing and programming
NFC work may include agreed physical cards or stickers, artwork preparation, printing, programming and links to a digital profile, contact details, review page or another agreed destination. The quotation identifies the materials, quantities, design, encoded content, physical supply and any separate digital or programming service. No particular stock, proprietary platform or perpetual hosting is implied.
The receiving device needs suitable NFC capability or another agreed way to reach the destination, such as a printed link or QR code where included. Device settings, compatibility, internet access and the continuing availability of the destination service can affect use. I agree the intended compatibility and testing rather than promise that every device will behave identically.
Please check names, contact details, artwork and destinations at the agreed approval point before production. A later change to approved printing or programming may require an additional quote, but a printing or programming error in the work I agreed to supply remains my responsibility. The consumer rules for physical goods and separate services are explained below.
For a consumer order of physical goods, I deliver by the time agreed with you or, if no time is agreed, without undue delay and within 30 days after the contract is made. The goods remain at my risk until you or your nominated recipient physically receive them, except where the law provides otherwise for a carrier you independently arrange. Personalisation does not remove your rights relating to delivery or faulty or misdescribed goods.
18. Content, intellectual property and licences
Material supplied by you. You are responsible for having the copyright permissions, licences and any necessary consent for the text, photographs, images, logos, fonts, product information and other material you supply, and for telling me about restrictions on its use. Supplying a file is your confirmation that I may use it for the agreed project. I am not responsible for obtaining rights in material you supply unless you separately commission me to do that work. This does not excuse an infringement caused by my own unauthorised use or a failure in work I agreed to provide.
The written project agreement identifies the deliverables, any source files, and the ownership or licence arrangements for bespoke work. Ownership and usage rights follow that agreement and the applicable licences; commissioning a project does not itself grant rights to every tool or third-party source code used. If an intended use or handover right is unclear, I will clarify it with you before the commitment is made.
Existing tools, open-source software, premium plugins, stock assets and connected platforms remain subject to their applicable licences. Renewals and ongoing access are included only where stated. Author credit and portfolio use require the express project arrangement described in the next section; commissioning work alone does not authorise publication of private customer information.
Material you commission me to create or source. Where you commission me to make photographs, generate AI-assisted images or obtain stock material, I am responsible for creating or sourcing the agreed material and arranging the rights, permissions and licences appropriate to its agreed use. I use my own paid licences where their terms permit that client use. Any separately charged asset cost, required client licence or renewal is explained and agreed before purchase or use.
A paid stock or AI service does not by itself grant exclusivity, ownership of every underlying right or unlimited reuse in other projects. I explain relevant usage, credit, redistribution or source-file restrictions. Rights for people, brands or third-party content in an image may also need to be considered. The rights granted depend on the actual asset and applicable licence or provider terms.
The agreed fee includes permission to use the final paid-for deliverables for the purpose stated in your project agreement. Unless a restriction is clearly agreed before you order, that permission includes operating and maintaining the delivered website or software and allowing another developer to support it on your behalf, subject to relevant third-party and open-source licences. It does not assign all copyright or ownership of my pre-existing tools. A wider assignment or exclusive right must be expressly agreed in writing.
19. Author credit, portfolio use and white-label work
Unless a different arrangement is clearly agreed before you accept the quotation, my standard project price includes a discreet author credit identifying Michael or Creative Apple in the agreed website footer or plugin credits. The quotation identifies the proposed credit and makes this arrangement clear before you order.
The standard arrangement may also permit me to show the publicly launched, non-confidential project in my portfolio or a case study, to identify my contribution. The permitted material and any use of your business name or logo must be within the rights you can authorise and any limits agreed in the quotation. I do not publish private files, credentials, customer records, sensitive information, unpublished work or confidential results merely because I worked on the project. Any additional permission needed for personal information, third-party material or a particular case study must be obtained first.
If you require no public author credit, no portfolio publication or a white-label arrangement, please tell me before accepting the quotation. I may quote an additional white-label fee to reflect the loss of the agreed attribution and portfolio benefit and any extra delivery requirements. The amount, scope and any restrictions are explained and agreed in writing before you commit. There is no fixed percentage, retrospective charge or automatic penalty under this clause.
A request made after acceptance is discussed as a possible agreed change; it does not itself authorise an additional fee. Existing confidentiality, privacy and third-party rights continue to apply. White-label work removes only the branding and publicity agreed for that project: it does not authorise false copyright claims or removal of licence, copyright or attribution notices that an applicable third-party or open-source licence requires to remain. The agreement does not restrict rights which the applicable licence grants you. Exercising a statutory privacy or other mandatory legal right does not itself create an additional charge.
Strict confidentiality for white-label work. Once white-label delivery is agreed, I keep the project and my involvement confidential during and after the work. I do not put the project in my portfolio, publish a case study or screenshots, identify the agency or end client in a client list, use their names or logos to promote my involvement, show the work to unrelated people, or say publicly that I delivered it. The work is supplied for your agreed presentation under your own brand. Publication by your agency or end client does not itself give me permission to disclose my involvement.
Your client relationship stays with you. I communicate and deliver through the commissioning agency. I do not contact its end client about the project, approach that client to sell my services using the confidential relationship, or disclose the agency’s arrangements without the agency’s specific written permission. If a direct conversation or technical access is needed, I agree the purpose and arrangements with the agency first.
Confidential information is used only for the agreed work and is not shared outside it. Any necessary access by an agreed hosting, storage or technical service provider is limited to that purpose and the appropriate arrangements. If disclosure is legally required, I disclose only what is required and inform the agency beforehand where the law permits. Those limited operational and legal exceptions do not allow portfolio use, publicity or casual discussion of the work. A project-specific non-disclosure agreement can record additional agreed requirements.
The standard fee includes the author credit and limited public-portfolio arrangement described in this quotation. If you need white-label delivery, no public credit or no portfolio use, please ask before accepting so I can confirm the scope and any agreed price difference.
20. Confidential information and personal data
Share only the information reasonably needed for the agreed work and tell me if it needs particular handling. I will use project access and confidential material for the authorised work and any other purpose properly agreed or required by law. Please do not send unnecessary passwords, payment details, medical records or private client documents in an initial enquiry.
The Privacy Policy explains how the company handles personal information for its own enquiries, bookings, accounts and business administration. If the project involves processing personal data on your behalf, the necessary instructions, responsibilities and data-processing arrangements must be agreed for that activity; this general page is not a substitute for them.
A technology name or logo on the website does not mean that every provider receives your information. Any proposed data flow, third-party access or AI use must be assessed against the actual work and appropriate permissions and safeguards.
21. Monthly services, cancellation and completed-work fees
If you want to pause, change or end a project, contact me so the completed work, remaining commitments and next steps can be identified. Missing essential information, an unresolved access problem or an overdue agreed payment may prevent further work; I will explain the issue and discuss a proportionate way forward. There is no automatic penalty or new charge under this clause.
Subject to the cancellation rights and remedies below, I do not offer a discretionary change-of-mind refund for services properly performed, agreed deliverables already supplied or SEO and other authorised time actually worked. An unused advance payment is not automatically an earned or non-refundable fee. Any amount due for supplied work and any refund must reflect the agreement and applicable law, without recovering the same loss twice.
If I cannot provide agreed work, or work does not meet the contract, the appropriate cancellation, refund or other remedy must be assessed fairly. A serious issue such as an unlawful instruction or suspected fraudulent use may require work to stop, but I will explain the reason and deal with payment and undelivered work in accordance with the agreement and law. This clause does not prevent you exercising a right to end the agreement for my breach.
To request cancellation of an ongoing service or discuss its end, email [email protected]. I confirm the applicable end date, the work and charges properly due, and agreed handover or access changes. Ending one service does not automatically end a separate service or a subscription you hold directly with another provider.
Client-owned accounts, domains and supplied material remain yours. An unrelated disputed charge does not automatically withdraw rights already granted in paid-for work. We agree how necessary access is handed over or removed securely. Extra export, migration or transition work outside the agreed deliverables needs a quotation and your approval first.
Five working days before the next month. You may send notice at any time by emailing [email protected], identifying the monthly service you wish to end. To end it at the close of the current paid period and avoid the next agreed renewal, I must receive your notice at least five working days before the next service period starts. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in England and Wales. The period follows the billing dates agreed with you; it does not necessarily start on the first day of a calendar month. I confirm receipt and the applicable end date promptly. A delay in my acknowledgement does not itself make a timely notice late.
Where month-to-month renewal has been expressly agreed, notice received after that deadline normally takes effect at the end of the following monthly service period, which is supplied and charged under the agreed arrangement. I may agree an earlier end where the work and commitments can reasonably be stopped. There is no separate early-exit penalty and no requirement to complete a six- or twelve-month term. Any statutory cancellation rights or right to end for a failure to meet the contract take precedence over this notice arrangement.
The current paid package after work starts. For an agreed fixed-price monthly package which has begun, cancelling its renewal does not cancel the current package or its agreed fee: I continue to provide the agreed services for the current period. I do not offer a discretionary change-of-mind refund for that package solely because you decide not to continue once the agreed work has started. This does not remove rights concerning faulty, misdescribed or undelivered services. If you instead ask me to stop work immediately, the fair settlement described below applies; the fact that work started is not by itself permission to retain every unused part of an advance.
Change your monthly package. You may ask to reduce or increase an SEO or other monthly package at any time. To change the next period, send the request at least five working days before it begins so that we can agree the new deliverables or authorised time, price and effective date. A change during the current period can be agreed separately where practicable. Work already properly completed is not retrospectively undone or repriced, and I do not charge for extra work or a higher package without your approval. If no new package is agreed, the existing agreed renewal arrangement applies unless you give notice to cancel it.
Clear settlement when a service ends. You remain responsible for services properly provided, authorised time actually spent and external costs you expressly authorised which cannot reasonably be avoided or recovered. Any amount retained following an immediate stop must fairly reflect the services provided and legitimate unavoidable loss, without recovering the same amount twice. I explain the account position and refund any unused advance where a refund is due; an advance for hourly work is accounted for against the authorised time actually worked. A domain, hosting plan, software licence or advertising subscription held with a separate provider has its own previously disclosed terms and cancellation process. This does not turn my monthly service into a six- or twelve-month commitment or remove your statutory rights and remedies.
22. Service standards, remedies and responsibility
I will carry out the agreed services with reasonable care and skill. If something appears wrong, please describe the issue and the relevant deliverable so I can investigate and discuss an appropriate remedy. For consumers, the law may require the relevant work to be performed again at no extra cost or provide an appropriate price reduction or refund. Your right to a remedy does not depend on accepting my assessment as final.
Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability which the law does not permit to be excluded. Consumer rights concerning services, goods and digital content remain protected. For a consumer, the company remains responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by its breach or failure to use the required care and skill.
Any additional liability limitation proposed for an individual business project must be clearly stated and agreed, and must meet applicable legal requirements, including reasonableness where required. References to hosting, security risks, AI errors or third-party services do not remove responsibility for a breach or lack of care in my own agreed work.
23. Consumer service cancellation and an early start
If you are a consumer entering an applicable service agreement online, by email, by phone or away from business premises, you normally have a right to cancel without giving a reason until the end of 14 days after the day the agreement is made. If required cancellation information has not been supplied, the period may be extended by law. A bespoke website or development service is not automatically exempt merely because it is tailored to you.
To cancel, send a clear statement of your decision to [email protected] or the contact address stated above before the applicable period ends. Include enough information to identify your agreement. You may use the model cancellation form supplied with the agreement, but you do not have to use that form.
I will ask for your express request before starting a consumer service during its cancellation period and record the required acknowledgement where full performance would end the cancellation right. Starting work alone does not immediately remove that right. It ends after full performance only where the legal conditions, including the necessary early-start request and prior acknowledgement, have been met.
If you validly cancel after requesting an early start but before completion, only a legally recoverable proportionate amount for the service already supplied may be payable. The required information about cancellation and costs and the express request matter; where the law says no early-supply charge is payable, none is charged. A refund due for a cancelled consumer service will be made without undue delay and within 14 days after I am informed of your decision to cancel, using the original payment method unless another method is expressly agreed without a fee.
For an applicable consumer agreement, I must supply the contract confirmation and required information in a durable form you can keep, such as an email or an appropriate paper copy, within the legally required time. It must include any required confirmation of consent and acknowledgement for early digital-content supply. A link to this website page or a general terms checkbox alone is not the required durable confirmation or proof of a separate early-start consent.
Optional model cancellation notice — complete and send this notice only if you wish to cancel. You may instead send any other clear statement identifying your decision and agreement.
To: Creative Apple Solutions Ltd, Europa Business Park, Bird Hall Ln, Building 67, Ground floor, 67 G12, Stockport, SK3 0XA, United Kingdom; email: [email protected].
I/We hereby give notice that I/we cancel my/our contract for the following service / supply of digital content / sale of goods: [identify the agreement and supply].
Ordered on / received on: [date].
Name of consumer(s): [name].
Address of consumer(s): [address].
Date: [date].
Signature of consumer(s): [only if this notice is sent on paper]. Delete as appropriate.
A general agreement to these terms is not a substitute for the separate express request and acknowledgement required for an early-start consumer service.
24. Separate rules for digital content and physical goods
Where an agreement separately supplies downloadable software or other digital content without a physical medium, I identify that supply and explain its cancellation rules before you commit. Beginning that supply during the cancellation period requires the appropriate express consent and acknowledgement, with the required confirmation. For qualifying digital content, the cancellation right can end when supply begins after those requirements are met. This differs from the full-performance rule for services.
For physical goods supplied to a consumer at a distance, the usual cancellation period is normally 14 days after the relevant goods come into physical possession, subject to the applicable rules and exceptions. Goods genuinely made to your specifications or clearly personalised may fall within the made-to-order exception; I will identify this before you order. A standard NFC card is not automatically personalised merely because it is an NFC product, and a separately supplied programming or design service needs its own assessment.
The agreement and pre-contract information identify delivery, any applicable returns arrangements and lawful return costs for the actual physical order. Those costs are explained before you order. An exception to change-of-mind cancellation does not remove remedies for faulty, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods or digital content. Mixed projects are assessed by what is actually supplied, rather than labelling every element a non-refundable bespoke product.
25. Questions, complaints and your legal rights
For a question or complaint, contact me, Michael, at [email protected], or write to Creative Apple Solutions Ltd at the contact address above. Describe the agreement, relevant work and the outcome you are seeking. I will review the issue, explain my response and discuss appropriate next steps without treating my own decision as binding on you.
You do not have to waive a claim, accept extra paid work or agree that the original work was satisfactory in order to raise a concern. Nothing here requires an exclusive private dispute process or prevents you seeking advice, contacting a relevant authority or using a court available to you under the law.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, this does not remove any mandatory protection or right to bring a claim available under applicable law. Any specific business-court arrangement is stated in the individual agreement. These terms do not retrospectively change existing agreements. If a provision cannot lawfully be applied, it does not remove the rights and obligations that continue under the rest of the agreement and the law.
When I give you the outcome of a consumer complaint, I also explain any alternative dispute resolution or other arrangement I am legally or contractually required to offer for that dispute. This does not restrict your right to use the courts.
26. Using this website and client area
You may browse this website and save or print information needed to consider my services or keep your project terms. Public articles, examples and code are general information; assess their suitability for your own system before using them. A public example does not replace an individually agreed technical or professional service.
Website text, images, designs, software and other material are subject to the relevant copyright and licences. Ordinary viewing and any use permitted by law or a stated licence remain allowed. Do not copy, sell or republish protected site material without the necessary permission. Open-source and expressly licensed examples retain their stated permissions.
Use booking and client facilities only for an authorised purpose. Keep your account access secure and do not upload malware, unlawful material or files you are not entitled to share, attempt to access another person’s account or records, or interfere with the service. If you unexpectedly see information that is not yours, stop accessing it and tell me so I can investigate.
External links and platforms have their own terms, operators and availability. Linking to a resource does not automatically endorse every statement it makes or transfer operation of that service to Creative Apple. Nothing in this section removes responsibility or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Your Client Zone project files. The Client Zone uses an individual username and password to provide access to the private Google Drive folder assigned to your account. You may sign in at any time of day, subject to service availability. The folder contains the website and online-shop files, plugin packages, custom software project files and project assets made available within your agreed scope, with invoices where available and documentation where commissioned or provided. Access does not extend the agreed retention period or grant additional rights in source files or third-party material. To request or restore access, contact me through Messenger, WhatsApp, by phone or the contact form. I verify your identity and authority to access the project before arranging access. Do not send your password in a message.

Questions about these terms.
Who am I contracting with?
Your agreement is with Creative Apple Solutions Ltd, company number 12417645. I am Michael, the owner and person carrying out the work on behalf of the company. The quotation identifies the correct client and agreed scope.
Can a major redesign or extra feature be charged without approval?
No. I explain and quote for additional work first. A replacement concept may be a new project, but I will not start it or charge for it until you approve the written proposal. Correcting a failure to meet the original agreement is different from ordering extra work.
Does the handover month end all support rights?
No. I correct my own faults at no additional charge during the one-calendar-month included handover period, and any unused in-brief revision allowance remains available within it. A longer support period for a larger project can be agreed by both parties before handover. The period does not shorten statutory rights or legal claim periods.
Does an hourly SEO service include reporting time?
Every SEO engagement includes a report unless you expressly waive it. Where the work is hourly, actual report preparation time is chargeable within the authorised time or budget, and an hour contains 60 minutes. During the current month you can ask for the hours and minutes worked. A deliverable package has its reporting, scope and price agreed individually.
Are completed services always non-refundable?
There is no discretionary change-of-mind refund for properly completed agreed work, subject to applicable cancellation rights and remedies. Unused advance payments are not automatically earned fees, and rights concerning defective, misdescribed or non-conforming work remain protected.
Are search rankings, ChatGPT visibility or advertising results guaranteed?
No. The agreement covers the work I will perform, not a guaranteed ranking, AI mention, number of sales or advertising return. ChatGPT Ads is considered only where relevant account and location access is available and the work is separately agreed.
Can I request a project without an author credit?
Yes. Tell me before accepting if you need no public author credit, no portfolio publication or white-label delivery. I explain the arrangement and any additional fee in advance. It is not an automatic or retrospective charge, and mandatory privacy and licence rights still apply. Strict confidentiality applies to agreed white-label work: I do not publicise my involvement or approach the end client without the agency’s specific written permission.
Am I tied into six or twelve months of SEO or maintenance?
No. My ongoing packages are month to month and paid in advance. To avoid the next agreed renewal, email your cancellation at least five working days before the next service period starts. A later notice normally ends the service after the following paid period, unless an earlier end is agreed or a legal cancellation right applies. Cancelling renewal does not cancel a current fixed-price package which has already begun: its agreed services continue, with no discretionary change-of-mind refund solely for deciding not to renew. Statutory rights and fair settlement if work is stopped immediately remain protected. Package changes need an agreed scope, price and date. Separately commissioned builds and direct provider subscriptions are separate agreements.
Will a new website or a few months of SEO guarantee customers?
No. Launching a website, shop or plugin does not automatically create awareness or sales. Search work and other promotion may need six to twelve months or longer to develop and assess, although some changes may be seen sooner. That is a possible planning horizon, not a required contract length or a results promise. Stopping after one to three months may be too early to assess the work. Demand, competition, location, pricing, trust and the customer experience also affect enquiries and purchases; regular work does not make results certain.
Can late materials, changes or an unforeseen event affect delivery?
Yes. I agree the timetable at the start, including dates for your materials and reviews. Late information or substantial changes can affect dependent work and require reasonable rescheduling. Serious illness, an accident or a genuinely unforeseen event may also affect delivery. I explain the impact promptly and discuss a proportionate revised plan in writing; this does not authorise unlimited delays or extra charges. I normally allow a sensible planning buffer and may finish earlier. Your included review rounds, support rights and any legal rights concerning delay remain protected.
