I am Michael, the sole owner of Creative Apple Solutions Ltd. I personally plan, design and build the work I take on, so the person discussing your project is the person responsible for delivering it.
I have been designing and building since 2001. My work now connects business websites, ecommerce, bespoke software and practical AI automation.

Freelance work from 2001
I began working independently in 2001. Websites and design have remained a continuing part of my professional work as the tools and the needs of businesses have changed.

Purple Porcupine Design · 2015–2017
I worked as a Senior Web and Graphic Designer at Purple Porcupine Design Ltd, developing my practice across web and visual design.

Creative Apple · from 2017
My work under the Creative Apple name dates from 2017, with my role described as Creative Director. The UK limited company, Creative Apple Solutions Ltd, was registered in 2020; that company history is separate from my earlier professional experience.

Websites and online shops
I create responsive business websites and ecommerce experiences, with clear content, useful navigation and an agreed handover for the people who will manage them.
Bespoke software and plugins
I build specific functionality when an existing product does not meet the requirement. I am also the founder and developer of CAS Plugins, my own brand of WordPress and WooCommerce tools.
Website design and practical automation
I connect the visual design of websites and online shops with customer information and the systems behind the work. AI and automation can help with repeated tasks, with suitable review points and the owner remaining involved in decisions.

Formal study alongside hands-on work.
My computing education brought programming, graphics and multimedia into the same foundation. I completed both degrees with a Very Good (5) grade and received academic scholarships during my studies.

Creative Apple is my client-service business. CAS Plugins brings together my own software products, while SEO Optimal presents another part of my work around websites, search and automation.

Who will actually work on my project?
I will. I am the sole owner and executor of my website, design and software work. I discuss the brief, carry out the agreed work and manage the reviews and handover myself.
Can you handle both design and development?
Yes. I combine the visual design of websites and online shops with computing and bespoke development. I consider how the presentation, content and functionality fit together within the agreed scope.
Do you work with businesses outside the UK?
Yes. My projects include businesses in the UK and other countries. I agree communication, review stages and delivery arrangements for each project. Any physical production or shipping has its own confirmed scope.
How do you decide whether a project needs custom software?
I start with the problem and the available options. A standard setting or existing product may be sufficient. If bespoke functionality is appropriate, I define the requirement, compatibility, checks and handover before quoting.
What happens when the project is finished?
I provide the handover and support included in the written scope. Ongoing maintenance, further design or new features can be agreed separately, with clear responsibilities and access to the accounts you manage.
